Al Ansari Exchange - Silicon Central Branch

I wanted to sell some leftover currency after my trip, so I called the branch this morning to check the exchange rate. A staff member named Ali offered me a good rate over the phone. I confirmed with him and reached the branch within 5 minutes. However, upon arrival, I was told Ali was busy, and the manager directed me to another counter. There, I was quoted a different — and higher — rate. I explained that I had already been quoted a lower rate, but their response was simply, “that was a wrong quote.” When we checked with Ali, he remained silent and didn’t clarify in front of the manager.I requested that they at least offer a middle-ground rate, especially since the original quote was in line with the current market, but they refused to make any adjustment. There was no understanding, support, or even an apology. It was incredibly frustrating to face such a response, especially from a senior staff member (Eyda). Committing to a rate and then refusing to honor it or compromise is not only unprofessional but also unethical. It resulted in a complete waste of my time and efforts.

I recently visited the Al Ansari Exchange branch at Silicon Central Mall, and I want to share my deep appreciation for the exceptional service I received especially from Mr. Muhammad Kouyou. I was going through a very difficult time, both personally and with some banking restrictions due to visa issues. It was a frustrating and stressful situation, made even harder by the fact that I was unwell. Many places would have simply turned me away, but Mr. Muhammad treated me with patience, respect, and genuine care. He listened carefully, explained the rules clearly, and did everything within his ability to assist me — without adding any pressure or stress. His professionalism, kindness, and understanding truly stood out, and I will not forget how he made me feel heard and supported during a very hard moment. I would also like to thank Mr. Mohammed Fazil, the branch manager, for running a team that demonstrates such high standards of customer care. People like Mr. Muhammad Kouyou are the reason customers remember and trust a business. I hope his efforts are recognized, because he represents the very best of Al Ansari Exchange
