Environmental Science is such an amazing subject that opened my eyes to the world around me and the importance of preserving our planet. Through studying ecosystems, climate change, and sustainability, I've gained a deeper understanding of how interconnected everything is. Ms. Merci made this subject even more engaging and enjoyable. Her passion for the environment and creative teaching style helped make each lesson fun and interesting. She always found ways to bring the material to life, whether through interactive activities or real-world examples. One of the things I appreciated most was how she incorporated real-life examples from the UAE. From discussing the country’s innovative renewable energy projects, like Masdar City, to highlighting local conservation efforts and desert ecosystem adaptations, these UAE-based examples made the lessons feel even more relevant and impactful. I’m truly grateful for her guidance and how she made learning so much more exciting!

Taking Environmental Science this year changed the way I see the world. It opened my eyes to how important it is to take care of our planet and be more responsible with the choices we make. What made the class even more special was our teacher, Mrs. Mercey. She’s not just an amazing teacher she’s like a second mom to all of us. She always supports us and makes sure we understand everything, and truly cares about each student.
