STEER CLEAR, DO NOT USE. No meter running and then they charge double what a normal Dubai taxi or uber would. 255AED for a 25 minute (17km) drive, in comparison Uber would be no more than 100. This company brings down the friendly feeling of Dubai. Edit: Al Salaam contacted the hotel we stayed at after we left and asked them to contact me to ask if they could provide my number to speak to me about the issue. Apparently they wanted to bank transfer the full amount that we paid in cash. I refused any contact with them and did not want to provide bank details to, or have contact with a business that operates in such a dishonest manner.

CROOKED as they come! Do NOT use this service. 4 hours earlier paid 51.50 AED with regular taxi and on return trip were lured by driver who assured 10 AED base start and metered. Exactly same trip but reversed, he attempted to charge us 250 AED!!!! Nearly 5 times original charge! Refused, spoke to his boss and advised we would pay 100 AED TOPS as limo vs. regular taxi but still too much! Feel robbed! Keep away, absolute crooks! So much for tourism when one encounters this! Leaving Dubai soured!

These people are scammers and liars. I took a taxi from JBR to JLT and this driver came saying "u want taxi". While getting off on JLT his bill was 180 aed. Clear scammer and liars. These people and company should be punished by RTA who are destroying the image of Dubai by being scammers.

As a frequent user of limo services, I can say Al Salaam stands out. I regularly book the Mercedes S Class for airport runs and prefer Danish Taj as my driver. He knows all of my preferences from the AC setting to the type of music I like. He doesn’t talk too much unless I initiate conversation and always makes sure I’m comfortable. This level of consistency keeps me loyal.

Wish I had seen these reviews before booking. Old Tesla Model 3 arrived to collect me that had a cracked windscreen and a driver that whilst polite at first then wanted to share their views on the Russian Ukraine war. If I want to debate geopolitics, then I'll do so at a venue of my choosing! If I hadn't been in a rush to get to the airport, I'd have terminated the ride as for the money charged it was subpar. My advice, avoid at all costs and stick to the local taxis from the Dubai Taxi Company.
