Cannot recommend this museum enough. It’s split over multiple buildings with a different theme for each. We visited the Dubai Creek history, archaeological and perfumery buildings. Unfortunately we ran out of time to visit the other buildings but will definitely be back. I’d recommend a full day to explore. There are also free buggies to transport you between buildings if required.

The only destination I explored during the flight transfer, which turns out a surprise! The museum is big and has 22 exhibition areas with different topics: societies, food culture, maritime development, global trade, archeology, perfume…. At least 2-3 hours to explore part or all of them! The exhibitions adopt great techs: movies, VR, LED screens, and tons of historical objects… The staff is also welcoming and friendly!

Very good place to learn Dubai in a thorough way. Affordable price for what you are getting for. No wait during the weekend of July. And the stuff are very friendly

Very interesting. So many aspects of Dubai's history. It is such a varied place with so much depth. A must visit. Expect to spend at least 2-3hrs.
