Al Twar Pond Park

This is a charming and somewhat hidden gem of a park, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. Entry is completely free, making it an easy choice for anyone looking to enjoy some time outdoors. Ample free parking is available just outside, which adds to the convenience. I happened to be passing through the area when I discovered this park, and I’m glad I did. It features plenty of space for walking and running, making it ideal for exercise, a relaxing stroll, or even social gatherings with family and friends.

I recently visited Al Twar Pond Park at night, and I found it to be very calm and peaceful — perhaps the quietness was because of the time, but it felt quite relaxing. The park has a small playground area with slides, swings, and other equipment for kids. It’s not a large playground but a decent-sized one that can comfortably accommodate a few children. There are a few similar play areas scattered around the park. In the front gate, there is a running restaurant that look neat and inviting, serving hot and cold drinks as well as food — a nice spot to grab refreshments. Since the park is located near a pond, you can feel a gentle breeze while walking around, which adds to the pleasant atmosphere. However, the ground tends to emit heat at night because the sand absorbs the sun’s heat during the day, making it a bit warm when sitting in the play areas. Thankfully, the trees offer some fresh air, and with flowers blooming all around, the park feels lovely and vibrant. Overall, I found Al Twar Pond Park to be a nice place to visit. Of course, this is just my personal opinion — everyone experiences a place differently, and what I see and feel may vary from others’ perspectives. Beauty and comfort often depend on individual views and feelings.

Excellent place to jog, exercise, relax, breathe fresh air, meet people , do small celebrations. 2 km jogging track alongside of pond. I recommend people to make use of it and stay healthy

A huge pond park for walking, cycling, picnicking, and chilling. People can relax here. The park is free of charge. Families with/ without kids or just singles chill and relax here. Lots of benches to sit on. Properly lit. Lots of green grass patches.

Very clean and quite place to visit with family. Best for walking around the pond. Best time for walking in the evening close to 6PM. Feels chill and comfortable. Parking available both front and back side. Both side free parking till now. Toilets available.
