Alphatel Beach Hostel JBR - Jumeirah Beach

I had a great time there, caretaker Kuda & Fatima are absolutely amazing. They actually care for you to be honest. When I was there, I found amazing people in the hostel all over the world. It’s in the 32nd floor and you’ll be awestruck from the balcony view. Very neat and clean.

Hostel is a solid pick if you're traveling on a budget but still want to stay close to the action in JBR. It’s clean, cozy, and has all the basics covered — with a relaxed, social vibe that makes it easy to meet other travelers. The best part? It’s just a short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants, and public transport. Staff are helpful and friendly, and the place feels safe and well-organized. Perfect for solo travelers or backpackers looking for a beachside stay without spending too much. Peace.

I stayed in Alphatel Hostel JBR twice and it was pleasant staying. The location is great it’s near to everything. People there are friendly and honest. I’m looking forward to staying there.

Don’t book! Especially when you are a woman! You can barely call this place a hostel. It’s more a permanent stay for foreigners which are working in Dubai. I was the only woman in the whole „hostel“, which made me feel very uncomfortable. One guy in my room told me that he have already lived in this „hostel“ for 1,5 years now. I slept in a room with 7 other men on the upper bed, where there is no curtain, so you have zero privacy. There are only 2 bathrooms for all people, so especially in the mornings the bathrooms were always occupied. I felt so uncomfortable and had zero sleep, since most of the guys were snoring really badly. Therefore I talked to the lady working there (Favor?! from Nigeria) and she didn’t even try to understand or to help me. She said it’s not possible to get a refund because it’s not their problem that I’m feeling uncomfortable there. I ask if there is another bed in another dorm where there is at least a curtain and she told me she would charge me extra for it (even though the price online was the same I have already payed). They also don’t have any information for travelers there. I ask for things to do, an airport drop off and safari activities and the answer was always „I don’t know“. I also had a hard time finding that place cause google will send you to the otherside of the building, so I was running around at night in an underground carpark with all my luggage before I was able to find it. Cause the traffic was bad I ran late on my last day there, so I wrote the lady before and told her, that I will arrive 10 minutes after their working hours and kindly ask if it’s possible that she waits or if she can put my deposit somewhere but she said no. I then met her down the elevator when I arrived and ask her if she can pay me the deposit now and she said no, cause it’s after her working hours now. I said that she „just have to come upstairs with me for a moment“ and then the shouted at me „Just come upst...

Terrible. They moved us from rimal 4 to rimal 5 and in rimal 5 were to many peoples so that u can't actually live. I directly refund and moved out. The owner kids are living together with us and guests are very rude
