AOC French Brasserie

To begin with the service which was absolutely magnificent especialy with the nice lady Madina and Mr.Roj who were at our service every minute we needed so thank you so much for your kidness and service. The food was so delicious especialy the grilled meat and fish and if you love seafood you are in the right place its just not too varied not so many choices. The dessert has a lot of choices many many cakes and fruits. The drinks are just three types of jus and soft drinks and coffee and tea. The place was clean and calm and you cant get bored its placed in Sofitel hotel in JBR. The parking was easy with the valet man. We have paid 300 dirhams for 3 people and a kid which is a very good price for such place and service. So its 4 from 5 the only negative point is the variation of the food and the most positive point is the service and the charming people who work there.

This is an absolute gem restaurant to be on Saturday afternoon for their Le Grand Brunch Buffet! Whether you go for with soft drinks or alcohol, this is just heaven! Oysters were fresh and chef really opens that in front of you, lots of fresh lobsters and prawns. At one point I did take mainly lobsters. Thanks for being generous too. Lots of salads to choose from where I couldnt eat all of them as there were just plenty! Point to note out though as improvement, desserts section was at the back in the kitchen, can be confusing at first where people might wonder where the rest desserts are. The kids area had some desserts so people would thought that’s your dessert. The stir fry french food of snails and frog legs, the ventilation needs improvement. The smell gets the whole hotel. Lastly, the bbq section not sure if many people would go out in hot weather during lunch, might get missed. Despite all these, I think overall is brilliant place to be.

12:40pm arrived Was amazed at the restaurant's view, the buffet looked great and the chefs were so friendly. We waited for a few minutes until some guy came to approach us, I forgot to call the AOS Sofitel about the booking since I purchased the Groupon voucher early morning. But gladly he told us everything was fine and he assigned a nice table which I could observe the entire restaurant easily We start our food journey with some soup and selections of salads, Another amazing from the culinary team here is during the busy time the Director of Culinary himself comes to check the buffet and ensure the foods are in good condition and refilled for the next guest. He looked so busy even not too shy removing dirty plates from the buffet to clear them, also he kept asking his team (the Chef in the life station) if they needed help or not. What a leadership! Awesome Not just that, the experience I had at the Taco Live station also was memorable, the chef there always smiling whenever he gave the guests their order, he always asked them what kind of tacos they liked to have as a preference and he would make it front of you Continued my journey with AOC service standards, the restaurant seemed busy at the time also from the next table I heard they expecting some group to come. So far I have seen 4 servers in our area with 5 tables occupied (2-5) each table. Sadly among 4 servers, nobody is even tentative enough to check a table of cutleries for each guest/table which is accoupied. We have to keep asking for a new fork or spoon whenever we need it - minus point. As a five-star hotel, it should be a setup standard that says “refill cutleries” and recognize what the guest needs. A server came to our table and offered us some tea or coffee if we wanted to have any, hopefully I am not forgot or mistaken, her name is Jumei as in Jumeirah. Haha. We celebrated my birthday with friends at AOC, Sofitel, and it was an amazing experience! The international buffet had something for everyone. The atmosphere was elegant but relaxed, making it perfect for a fun night out. The staff were incredibly attentive and even surprised us with a birthday dessert plate—such a thoughtful touch! If you’re looking for a place to celebrate with great food, warm service, and a wide variety of international cuisines, AOC is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended for any special occasion!

I’ve been visiting the AOC restaurant at the Sofitel Dubai Jumeirah Beach for almost three years now, and it never disappoints! This morning, as I enjoyed another delightful breakfast, I was once again impressed by the consistently delicious food and the warm atmosphere. A big shout-out to Hsu, who always goes above and beyond to make sure guests feel welcome and taken care of. Can’t wait for my next visit!”
