Found my new favorite coffee place today:) This shop is filled with great energy and the food and drink are good as well. Mr Renzo was taking good care of me politely and friendly, making sure I got everything I needed. I’ll definitely come back soon:)

I have purchased whole loaves of bread a few times from this small cafe. The sourdough bread is better than most available in Dubai. I have also had the almond croissant several times. I would consider this pastry among the best around. My husband and I enjoyed coffee and shared a cinnamon roll a few days ago. Both the iced latte and cappuccino had the perfect ratio of milk to espresso. The cinnamon roll dough had a fluffy, but sturdy texture. It was not as sweet as the North American variety, which was a nice surprise. The level of cinnamon however is a little too low for a cinnamon bun and the icing should have slightly more cream cheese to provide a sour edge. Overall, a satisfying treat with coffee. The staff are friendly and eager to serve.

Baba Roma is a fantastic spot to enjoy delicious dessert croissants and fresh juices. The staff is incredibly professional and kind, and the service exceeded my expectations. The place is spotless and welcoming overall, a truly satisfying experience!

Hands down one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in Dubai! Everything was so fresh—from the pastries to the main dishes, every bite was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The atmosphere was modern, clean, and full of charm—perfect for a relaxing morning. Honestly 20/10 quality! What truly made the experience exceptional was all the staff there - big shoutout to our waitress Merly especially. She was beyond lovely—so kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her warm smile and thoughtful service added such a personal touch to the whole visit. You can tell she really cares about every guest having a great experience. She kept on cleaning around and going above and beyond. What a lovely soul! Places like this are rare, and people like Merly make all the difference. Can’t wait to come back! Honestly everyone pays attention so much and really makes you feel so welcome and at home! This will be my new daily spot for sure!

Baba Roma in Downtown is one of our absolute favorite place for dining in Dubai! Very cozy atmosphere with wonderful food and absolutely amazing staff. I would like to specifically thank Renzo, that makes us feel so very welcome and always make sure our kids have the best experience! He so thoughtful and attentive that If you ever visit - make sure to be seated at his area and you’ll know what I mean 😉 Personal food recommendations: pulled beef rigatoni and their signature napoleon!
