Borders Bookstore

As someone from the US who adored Borders Bookstore, coming to Dubai Mall’s edition was bittersweet and so wonderful! They have a huge selection of books, plus lots of deals tables and bargain books! There are also loads of school supplies, Hallmark cards, toys and souvenirs!

They refused to apply discount as indicated on Fazaa app using the excuse it’s not valid during “back to school” period. The lunch box I wanted to purchase was not discontinued and was full price. Nowhere is written that Fazaa discount is not applicable during “back to school”, only it can’t be used in conjunction with other deals or promotions. Went to Tavola next door and they had no problem accepting Fazaa.

Stepping into Borders at Dubai Mall felt like finding a hidden oasis amid the bustling shopping paradise. As a book lover, I was instantly drawn to the store's inviting shelves, which housed a treasure trove of literary wonders catering to every interest and age group. The cozy ambiance of Borders created a perfect escape from the mall's hustle and bustle. I found myself sinking into one of their comfortable chairs, book in hand, while sipping on a cup of coffee. The atmosphere was conducive to both exploration and relaxation, striking that delicate balance between discovery and tranquility. The staff's genuine enthusiasm for books and reading was infectious. They were more than happy to share recommendations and engage in conversations about my literary preferences. Their warmth and knowledge added a personal touch to the experience, making me feel right at home among the pages. One delightful surprise was the assortment of stationery and gifts available. It was hard to resist picking up a beautiful notebook or a quirky bookmark to accompany my new reading finds. Given the popularity of Borders, it's no surprise that it can get quite busy, especially on weekends. Navigating through the crowd required a bit of patience, but the potential wait was a testament to the store's popularity. In a nutshell, my time at Borders in Dubai Mall was a serene escape into a world of books and relaxation. If you're a fellow bookworm seeking solace and literary treasures in the heart of a bustling mall, this bookstore is a must-visit haven.
