Bur Dubai Marine Transport Station - On Demand Abra Service

If you want to go to Gold Souk, Deira then you can take a boat from Bur Dubai marine transport station and go there for one dirham only. Nearest metro station and bus station is Al Ghubaiba.

Abra rides can be taken from here to Old Souk. However if you wish to go to Gold Souk, you can take a ride from Al Fahidi Marine Station. The Abra ride is of just AED1 and it is a nice experience to ride in such a wooden boat with a view of the old buildings along the area. The nearest metro station as well as Bus station is Al Ghubaiba which is a max of 10mins walk. This marine station is just beside the Grand Souk where you can find a lot many souvenirs, traditional items etc

This is one of the very beautiful tourism & historical places at Bur Dubai. We see many tourists visiting there. Dubai Water Bus to Marina transport facility is available here. It has awesome scenic view of Dubai Creek water channel. One can have round trip Bur Dubai to Deira and back to Bur Dubai in AED 2. Please try if not experienced. It is nice.

My experience of Abra ride: It is a boat ride which is a great way of transportation between Deira and Bur Dubai. It is a 5mins journey with a joyous and calm experience. It is also the cheapest option compared to Buses, Metro, Taxis and car rentals. It costs you 1 Dirham (0.27 USD). It connects bur Dubai/ Ghubaiba area (also Fahidi Fort) and Deira Gold Souk Market which is also the most tourist visited area for cultural and local feel of Dubai.
