Bur Dubai Meena Bazar

Meena Bazar is a shopping area in the vicinity of Al Fahidi Metro Station in Bur Dubai. Good place for bargain items and copies of branded ladies hand bags, watches, T shirts and other stuff. One can spend the whole evening in scrolling through the market area consisting of jewelry shops, electronic goods, textiles, restaurants specially fresh food, and vegetable shops look like our village and other petty items. However, one has to be cautious about the mediators/brokers who persistently pester the tourists to buy some imitation goods. Shaking them off involves some effort. I bought an i-phone 15 which was a good deal. One has to spend some efforts in bargaining a deal. We purchased some gold too here and it was as good a bargain as at the gold souk. The market is dominated by Indians and Pakistanis but it is the same case the whole of Dubai in any case does not chip away the shopping experience. Overall, it was a good experience and useful too.

Great for traditional Indian clothing. Lots of shops for clothing. Tailoring can be done same day if one buys a few suits at onces. Will not recommend buying bags. The quality is not so good. Great for imitation jewelry. All prices are reasonable here.
