As a Neuropsychology student studying abroad and wanting to gain experience in the field, I reached out to the Canadian University Dubai to see whether they would be interested in having me as an intern. The School of Health Sciences and Psychology replied back and I soon got in touch with Dr. Aseel Takshe who provided me with the opportunity for an internship. I was supervised by Dr. Mohammed Nami, who provided me with key techniques and skills I will be utilising in not only my academic career but also in my professional field in neuropsychological research. Both Dr. Takshe and Dr. Nami's guidances have truly enriched my academic journey. Highly recommend CUD for anyone who is interested in pursing health sciences and psychology and a special thanks to both Dr. Takshe and Dr. Nami for facilitating this opportunity.

CUD has been my second home for the past 5 years. The incredible faculty, staff and students are a blessing to be around for the many hours we spend at uni each day. My favorite event has always been cultural day where students display and represent where they come from. Going to miss this uni, my favourite professors (dr. alia and dr. martin) and my amazing friends. Thank you CUD for the great memories i will take with me💗

My experience with Canadian University Dubai was an absolute waste of a trip, especially considering I flew all the way from the USA. Despite a seemingly organized initial contact, my campus visit was a complete failure. After setting up a meeting, I was met by a random person who spoke with me for a mere five minutes before one abruptly walking away. There was no tour, no opportunity to see the campus, nothing. Feeling completely dismissed and unwelcome, I simply left. To travel internationally and not even be shown the facilities is beyond unacceptable. This level of disorganization and disrespect for prospective students, particularly those who have made significant travel arrangements, is shocking. I strongly advise anyone considering this university, especially international students, to steer clear. My journey was entirely wasted, and the lack of even a basic tour speaks volumes about their lack of consideration.

I want to take a moment to say that the “Thank you Sheikha hind “graduation was absolutely amazing! The MC did a fantastic job—confidently speaking both Arabic and English, which made the event feel engaging. Having Hamad AlAmiri there made it even more special for the students. Well done, CUD!
