Dr Kowal is very experienced and you can sense he has genuine interest and concern for you. His treatments always help even though they might take a little while for your own safety and well being. Mental health doesnt seem to be a quick fix and he makes sure he works with you to solve your issue in the safest possible way.

I was already diagnosed with ADHD through a full assessment by a national accredited psychiatry service in the UK. Before booking an appointment, I called the clinic to confirm whether I could continue my treatment with them after moving to the UAE. They advised me to book a consultation (800 AED), but only after the appointment did the doctor inform me that they would not proceed with treatment unless I underwent another assessment costing 3,000 AED. This crucial information should have been communicated upfront, allowing me to explore other options instead of paying for a consultation that provided no value to the process.

I recently had a business meeting with Dr Schonder and Dr Kowal at their practice in Dubai Healthcare City. Lovely people, highly professional and a pleasure to talk with. The doctors obviously work well together which is why they have a busy and successful practice.

I can highly recommend Dr. Kowal at CHMC. Unlike other psychiatrists I saw in Dubai, he conducted a thorough interview, carried out an in-depth assessment, and clearly explained the therapy plan. After a few weeks, my symptoms disappeared, and he referred me for psychotherapy sessions. He is methodical, experienced, and compassionate.

If you are looking for an excellent psychiatrist, I can highly recommend Dr. Gregor Kowal. I was under his professionial care for 2 years for my depression and am happy to say that I have been cured. For me this means that I am enjoying life again and can manage the tough times, too!
