Cinemacity Fountain Views

I went to Cinema City to watch a Jurassic World Rebirth and honestly had such a fun time. The movie was great the sound and screen were really clear, and the seats were super comfy. What made it even better was the Jurassic merch they had! I wasn’t expecting that, and I got really excited. It added a nice touch to the whole experience.

Awesome cinema. Service in the VIP waiting lounge wasn’t great. One guy that disappears and isn’t very response.

After seeing posts on social media, I really wanted to try the VIP experience at Cinemacity. I thought that, being a smaller cinema, the VIP class would be more... classier. Sadly, it wasn't. Once we arrived at the counter, both booths were unavailable. A staff motioned us to go to the concession counter. She was friendly, I have to say, and as efficient as she could muster. Other cinemas have a lounge for VIP customers, where orders were taken by efficient staff. In this case, we were not told where to go. There was actually a proper lounge onsite but we weren't told. I accidentally found it while looking for our theater. Upstairs at the theater lobby, no staff was around, either. When we went in to our theatre, there were popcorn buckets and glasses left by previous customers still on the seats. In fairness, the seats were comfortable. Blankets were provided but only when the movie began. The positive to that is that they were warmed blankets. Food options were fine. Not all cinemas were actually licensed, only the one attached to the lounge. I felt like the entire place is understaffed because the same lady at the counter delivered our food. The Lounge also didn't have anyone attending when I was there

Probably the worst cinema experience ever, why sell me a a premium priced VIP ticket, with no service at all? Movie start close to midnight, the service bell is useless as they never come, couple of minutes in the movie the worker comes and alerts us that its last order lol. The movie literally just started, and you expect us to be in “vip” for 2 hours with no service? Whats the point of paying the premium if it lacks the service? Bathrooms lights closed, no service, nothing. Ridiculous, definitely a no go for me.

It's a licensed cinema! There is a bar you can get food and drinks while you wait. And you can also order while you are sitting at your seat in the theater. We did not try the food yet. But the espresso martini was good. It's not cheap, 2 movie tickets were 150 AED and the seats were not that comfortable lol. BUT a definite must visit and I would go again and again.
