City Social

I came to City Social for dinner and it was pretty good. I had the scollops for starter and the lamb chop for main. Both were pretty good but the Apple pie desert was incredible. There were however a few areas to improve. The wines were not kept at the right temperature so the white and red wines were too warm. The green salad was nothing more than lettuce and lemon, which is fine but it was described more elaborately than it was, and for the type of restaurant it is, you would expect something more creative.

Had dinner at the restaurant. I had booked a table, but they still made us wait 15 minutes. When they finally took us to our table, there were three empty ones available. It felt like they made us wait on purpose at the bar so we would spend more money. The music at the bar was so loud we could barely talk. The food was good, but nothing memorable. The wine wasn’t great, I’d recommend offering more French wines at lower prices than what’s currently on the list. Other than that, the table service was very good.

Elegant Ambiance with Great Food The overall experience was lovely. We started with the Hokkaido scallop (though a bit small for the price) and the beef tartare, followed by the Wagyu steak as the main course (all well-prepared and steak a bit salty) loved the little game for ice cream dessert. The ambiance is elegant and refined, and the view from the outdoor terrace on the 43rd floor of Grosvenor House is stunning. A great spot for a special evening out.

This has quickly become my new favorite restaurant! It’s absolutely perfect for dinner dates, offering a cozy and intimate ambiance that makes every visit feel special. The food is outstanding, both in taste and presentation. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented, making the dining experience as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the palate. The flavors are rich and well-balanced, clearly prepared with great attention to detail. Whether you’re looking for a romantic evening out or just a place to enjoy a fantastic meal, this restaurant hits all the right notes. I’m already looking forward to my next visit—it’s a place I’ll definitely return to again and again
