Comedy Kix

Imah and Amr run one of (if not) the most prolific comedy companies in the UAE. They organize comedy nights, comedy shows and teach as well. They are great standup comedy teachers and coaches. They are extremely friend and kind to newcomers, which makes them confident enough to go on stage. The Comedy Kix community is very welcoming for students, performers and comedy fans alike.

I was lucky enough to attend the beginners’ workshop with Imah. She literally showed me the ropes of everything stand-up comedy related from writing jokes to different delivery styles, and the dos and don’ts. And it didn’t stop after the workshop ended she’s always super welcoming, letting me try out my content at her open mic nights. Even now that the workshop is officially over, she’s still keen to give me feedback on what’s working and what I need to improve. She also hosts writing sessions to help sharpen your material and generate new ideas. If you’re thinking about dipping your toes into the stand-up comedy world, there’s no better woman to guide you than Imah.

Had the opportunity to do an incredible workshop with Imah. Really helped work on not just a stand up comedy routine but with how to hold attention, be flexible during presentations, and to always have a great line ready in unexpected situations. Definitely recommend if you’re looking to improve your public speaking skills or just want to have some great fun!
