I am highly disappointed with the service provided. Even for a small issue like updating my signature, I faced a lot of trouble. I visited the Dera branch, and the staff told me the signature change must be done through the mobile application. I followed their instructions and updated it right there in front of them. I was told it would be active within 48 hours. It has now been five days, and the update is still not reflected. When I contacted customer care, each time they promised a resolution by the end of the day—but nothing has happened. The lack of responsibility and proper support is extremely frustrating. This kind of service is unacceptable.

I am writing to express my serious concerns regarding a fraudulent transaction on my credit card, the mishandling of the situation by your team, and the overall security lapses that I have experienced as a customer of CBD. On 29JUN25, I discovered that my credit card information had been added to Google Pay without my consent or any verification process. No confirmation code was sent to me, and I never authorized this action. As a result, a transaction amounting to over AED 2,000 was made via Google Pay, which I did not authorize. This has caused a significant financial loss, and I am deeply concerned about the security of my personal and financial data. When I raised this issue with your customer support team, it took over five days—almost a week—for a response. After the delay, I was informed that the dispute was denied without a proper investigation. To make matters worse, the agent provided incorrect merchant details, claiming the transaction originated from a merchant in the UAE. However, I have confirmed that the merchant is actually located outside the UAE, adding to my frustration and highlighting the inefficiency of your dispute process. In today’s world, where most financial institutions use advanced technology to ensure the safety and security of their clients’ data, I am shocked by CBD's inability to follow basic security protocols and resolve this issue promptly. It is clear that CBD lacks the capability to safeguard customer data, and this breach has severely affected my trust in your institution. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of accountability and urgency in resolving this matter. The failure to protect my personal information and the denial of my legitimate dispute has left me feeling both vulnerable and disrespected as a customer.
