One of the worst services provided by these people is that they don't know anything, especially when it comes to helping. The lady's especially is so rude. In my opinion, the Indian consulate should be closed. These people are getting a salary without doing anything. I would recommend to Indian people not to visit the consulate; it's all a waste of time. Shame on these people for not wanting to help. The Indian government needs to address this issue and fire staff like this.

My experience at the Indian Consulate in the UAE was extremely disappointing. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and showed no empathy toward people seeking assistance. We come to the consulate expecting help as Indian citizens, but we are treated with disrespect. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I sincerely hope the Indian government or UAE authorities take serious action to improve the conduct and service quality at the Indian Consulate.

From start to finish of the passport renewal process was an absolute nightmare, just because I had to get an address change. A citizen born in India, has all the relevant documentation required, birth certificate, marriage certificate, aadhar card, family members ration card, electricity and water bill, deed of the apartment where they live, passport copy, emirates ID. Travels twice a year to India, you have all the relevant eye scans, finger prints, the whole entire effing history WHAT MORE DO YOU GUYS WANT!!!!! From the time of application at BLS the nightmare begins, it took endless waiting time at the first visit, 4 hours to be exact even after taking an online appointment, on reaching the counter I was told there could not accept the application as there was an error in the aadhar card. That day was a total waste. I was asked to come again the following week, to meet the counsel, the counsel walks in 1 hour late, imagine! on that day the record wait was from 1100 - 1600 just for submission. Imagine the parking fees and all the inconvenience endured! Once the passport was submitted, there was literally no update, all the tracking update said each week was the passport is with the consulate. My relatives in India visited the police station literally 5 times. No proper timings, closes anytime they fancy, noone to attend. Officials looking for bribes. The passport was stuck for literally 5 weeks, and I was not even sure where or with who, each time we were given a different story or information. Someone, somewhere along the trail was obviously waiting for their palms to be warmed up with money and we could not figure out where or who. Finally I went to the Indian consulate in Dubai for a follow-up on the status, I was informed that they will send a request for verification for the 2nd time. Such a sluggish and lethargic response to my agitation and frustration, and more so since the grace period as well of my UAE visa was expiring within a few days. My relatives in...
