I am currently pursuing my Bachelor's in Cybersecurity at Curtin University in Dubai, and my experience here has been exceptional. The university offers a comprehensive and cutting-edge curriculum that is both challenging and engaging. If you think you’re getting a good deal because you get go in a top 1% university, think again because trust me when I say there are far better universities in Dubai for an even lower price compared to this university. I was a student in this university and to be straight forward, the Dubai Campus does not care about their students, it’s money first for these people. Firstly, there was an instance wherein there was a rude and unprofessional professor in foundation for computer class and whenever students inquire to her she would answer rudely, resulting to an unstable environment with negative which students cannot foster in. There were already many complaints regarding this professor because due to her attitude, many students failed and therefore had to pay again as it’s a “required” unit for most. Hearing this, the university did not do anything until one student came forward with recordings of how the professor spoke to students in a rude manner and her telling students it’s required for them to have a windows only computer. Which is very unfair, because she literally told students that have a Mac to get a windows laptop instead and is tone deaf because not everyone has the finances for that. As a professor her job was to teach and she couldn’t even do that, therefore after the student complained in person they finally did something and removed the professor mid semester wherein they subbed a professor whose expertise are academic writing not computer. So from there, you can already see how they don’t care about their students, the ones failed had to pay again no refunds or anything. Even the ones that were taking the course during the trimester the professor was removed. They didn’t get proper lessons from a qualified professor yet they still had to pay. Another is one of a student faculty who seemed kind and welcoming but in reality many freshers specifically women, complained about this student faculty due to unprofessional behavior as he tar...

The Student life at Curtin University is a very happening place for all the students. With fun filled activities to interactive learning opportunities coupled with career growth. Curtin has transformed my social and professional life giving me more opportunities than i would get elsewhere.
