Just formally documenting a concerning incident that occurred on 26th June during a class at this school. To mark a special personal occasion—my birthday—I decided to begin the day with an activity I deeply enjoy: ballet. Following a pleasant ballet session, I was offered the opportunity to join a stretching class conducted by one of the instructors. While I have been practicing ballet, stretching, and Pilates consistently for the past 2 to 3 years and have developed a high degree of flexibility, the events that unfolded during this session were both distressing and harmful. During the class, the instructor attempted to forcibly extend my leg high beyond 130 degrees—an action that significantly exceeded my comfortable and safe range of motion. This was done without any prior consultation or consent, and the intervention was abrupt and forceful. At that moment, we both (me and the teacher) audibly heard a “crack” and was immediately overcome by pain. I was subsequently rushed to the emergency room, where I spent the remainder of my birthday undergoing extensive medical evaluations, including X-rays, ultrasound scans, and consultations with a sports medicine specialist. The final diagnosis was a muscle tear caused by aggressive overstretching. I was advised to refrain from any physical activity, including ballet, stretching, and running, for a period of 4 to 6 weeks. What was equally alarming—and, frankly, disappointing—was the lack of basic first aid or immediate response from your staff following the incident. Furthermore, there was no follow-up communication from your school to check on my well-being, which is a minimum standard of professionalism, especially within Dubai’s highly regulated and customer-oriented wellness industry. Regrettably, this experience has left me physically injured and emotionally disheartened, the absence of due care and post-incident protocol was unacceptable. My daughter has been going to ballet classes for over two years now and recently started jazz dance. We have tried some other dance academies but with Dance Horizons it was love from the first class. Their approach and hands on attitude towards each child makes them feel at ease and confident. Everyone is welcome there. The annual performance is very professional and shows the growth they have made since the past year. I highly recommend this studio. It feels like family there.

She is very happy there. It's not all about money but they really help them grow. What i also appreciated was that they were trying their best to keep the costums for the show at a minimum .
