I visited your store yesterday with a friend to purchase a pair of sunglasses that I had seen and really liked during my last visit. I was genuinely excited to come back, and my friend was also interested in buying a pair for herself. However, when we started browsing, we were told by the sales staff not to walk around the store due to something related to your footfall count. I found this quite embarrassing and disappointing as a customer. I understand that you may be under internal pressure regarding conversion rates, but that is not something customers should have to worry about or be affected by. If your footfall counter setup interferes with the customer experience, then it’s clearly time to rethink its placement or your approach. Customers should feel free and welcome to explore the store—not be made to feel uncomfortable or restricted. In the end, we left and made our purchase at another store, where we were treated with better service and respect. I genuinely hope you take this feedback seriously and provide proper guidance to your staff. Otherwise, you risk losing more customers in the future.

The optometrist was thorough and patient in assisting me with selecting the right lenses. She also conducted an eye prescription test to ensure accuracy, even though I initially mentioned I didn’t need one.
