I recently underwent meniscus tear surgery under the care of Dr. Ashish at Orthopro, and I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding level of care I received throughout the entire process. I was referred to Dr. Ashish by my Physio after a persistent muscle pain on the left leg would not go away after a recent marathon. Met Dr. Ashish who did an MRI (after a visual and Xray examination) and subsequently diagnosed that it required a knee arthroscopy and removal of loose bodies (cartilage) plus chondroplasty microfracture to allow the rebuild of the cartilage. The MRI was explained to be clearly leaving less room for ambiguity. From then till the actual surgery, I had a ton of questions and concerns, which Dr. Ashish patiently explained especially because I wanted to get back to running at the earliest. Having done a similar procedure in the past, this time my questions were around the recovery time and the path to normalcy. The surgery itself was done perfectly. I walked the same day without any support. The procedure with a clear video was explained to me perfectly. Post surgery, I met the doctor again for a follow-up and was given a clear path to recovery. I am now in that recovery path and will come back and write another review after I successfully complete my next marathon. 😊 Also, a huge thanks to the staff at OrthoPro, especially Angeline who was consistent in her follow-up to ensure my entire experience was smooth.
