The key to having fun on the Desert Safari Adventure is to set your expectations. My friend and I had a fantastic time. The desert off-roading experience was thrilling and really kicked off the Safari for us. We had the absolute best driver who also played an amazing "soundtrack" to his stunt driving. At the camp, everyone is very cordial. They have sand hill sledding, camel rides and photos, and Henna tattoos. Pay close attention to your guide's instructions. All food and experiences at the camp are included except: extra Henna designs, table service for hookahs, and alcohol. The performances were really good. They stagger everyone's arrival to keep lines short. I believe there are about 300 people there but it didn't feel like it. It was a wonderful, tourist experience. For more details, continue reading. Pick-up and Drive to Desert: The pickup will be in a 30 minute window depending on where you are in the pickup order. The drive out was pleasant and allowed me to see some great sites. Our driver was nice, well spoken and answered questions I had about areas we passed. First Stop: Your first stop is to an area of stores where you have an opportunity to rent Dune Buggies or RTV's. My friend and I did not rent a vehicle, although I regret not doing it, but enjoyed watching others. I didn't ask how much it costs but your tour agent can tell you ahead of time. You can buy head scarves and traditional desert clothing, souvenirs, photos with a falcon and refreshments. Note: This place is in the middle of nowhere and the prices have large markups. I paid 80 AED for a pineapple canned drink and a bottled water. That equates to $10 US per drink. We had also taken our own bottle of water and our driver gave us a cold one before heading to the "oasis". ****TAKE NAPKINS OR TOILET PAPER OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO BUY IT. Amazing tour. The highlight was our tour guide as he was very patient, lucky to have the car to ourselves. Dune bashing was ok though you’d feel motion sick if that’s not ur thing Good at the camp was basic. Entertainment was also a highlight. All in all the vibes and memories were great.

Perfect orient tour! Loved everything about it. The only thing to avoid is buy sand arts there. What will cost you 30 aed outside cost you 150 aed in the camp. The lady doing the henna chooses who to do the henna to and what type of henna. She was rude and clearly not bothered about what the customer had to say or wanted.
