I visited DHA to apply for my child's birth certificate, and the experience was frustrating. This process should be entirely online, but instead, I had to visit in person. Out of nine counters, only two were actively processing tokens, leading to unnecessarily long wait times. What should have taken minutes ended up taking hours. The service is extremely slow and inefficient. This system needs a serious upgrade to improve customer experience. And the cherry on top, they ruined my car in their own terrible sandy parking.

I visited this place and had to take my kids with me. Unfortunately, one of my kids started crying, so I stepped outside immediately. The manager approached me in a very unprofessional manner and told me I could leave and someone would contact me later. I waited for three days, but no one ever reached out. When I went, the process was incredibly smooth. After verifying a few required documents, the staff printed my birth certificate on the spot—both in English and Arabic. Excellent service and very cooperative staff. I truly appreciate the efficiency and professionalism.

If your birth certificate gets rejected, or if you're submitting a new request and there's an objection due to a mismatched mother's name with the marriage certificate, don't worry. Simply get an affidavit from the consulate office. It's a straightforward process and usually takes just 2–3 hours at the consulate.
