Dubai Marina Mall Marine Transport Station

We purchased 4 tickets and were scheduled to be in line by 7:35 PM. Unfortunately, we arrived at 7:38 PM—just 3 minutes late. Upon arrival, the security guard informed us that we were late and that both buses were already full. We accepted the situation calmly, but were then told that our tickets had expired, and no refund or tickets were provided. Additionally, the RTA staff member was extremely rude and unhelpful. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. We are very disappointed with the service and will not be returning in the future. We request a proper explanation and resolution for this issue.

The location is right beside pier 7. One can park the car in marina mall to access this station. Parking is free for two hours. We took the marina and palm tour. The ferry was on time. It was very well maintained. The security and the teller were very courteous. There is ample seating place near the station. Wouldn’t recommend the good class is ferry as we would spend most of the time outside itself.

From the cashier at the counter to the security to the host, everyone is very cooperative and always making sure of safety while on board, children's safety jackets are available on board nice space to stand outside for taking pictures, overall highly recommended 👍🏻

For 70 AED (gold) or 50 AED (silver) you get to ride a modern ferry that travels from Marina Mall Marine Transport Station to Al Ghubaiba. Good value considering a similar service is London, the Thames Clipper is the equivalent of 105 AED per person. If you are going to Sharjah Aquarium you will need to get off at Al Ghubaiba and take another ferry to Sharjah. The gold class (of which there are 14 seats) is at the front of the boat in a separate area with more comfortable seats. The disadvantage is that there is no access to the outside deck in gold class. The route from and to the Marina and Al Ghubaiba takes almost two hours as you can see and stops at Dubai Canal Marina Station as well as BlueWaters Marine Station. Along the way you get to see Ain Dubai (Dubai Eye), Atlantis, Burj Al Arab and the Kempinski Floating Palace. The departure time from Marina Mall is 1PM and 6PM every day. The staff at the booth are inmensly friendly and efficient considering the volume of people they deal with on a daily basis. NOL card holders have to buy a ticket online at the RTA website or at the booth prior to departure. Note that the RTA website will only accept UAE mobile numbers in the booking. There is a food service available on-board with coffee, drinks and sandwiches available for purchase. The ride can get choppy but at all times it is a ride to enjoy including music from Ramol playing in the screens.

This is the start point of FR1 & FR2 Dubai FERRY (operated by Dubai RTA Roads & Transport Authority) from Marina Mall/Walk toward Bluewater beach Marine station, Dubai Canal station, and Al Ghubaiba station (near Old Dubai). I bought the wrong ticket and a ferry crew, Mr. Lee, put extraordinary effort to sort it out even before our ferry departed. Great thanks! Another crew helped taking photo of me with Burj Arab background. The ferry ride itself was relaxing. We’ve got to see most of Dubai icons from water side. There is indoor (AC) and outdoor sections where we can roam, also a small cafe to buy drinks and snacks. The full trip was about 2 hours.
