Dubai Offshore Sailing Club

I recently completed my RYA Competent Crew course with Laura and four other students. Laura is an excellent instructor, and her teaching goes well beyond just explaining theory. She is dedicated to helping her students truly understand how the concepts apply practically, encouraging us to internalize skills and instincts essential for effective teamwork on the boat. Through her instruction, we developed greater awareness, alertness, and dependability, gaining confidence in our roles as crew members. The three-day course was challenging and demanding—definitely suited for determined individuals—but the experience was absolutely worth it. Thank you, Laura! I learned so much from you and from this course. On a side note, the food provided could be improved for a three-day voyage, and there were occasional miscommunications with the administration regarding email coordination. However, these were minor issues in an otherwise fantastic experience. Despite these small setbacks, I would highly recommend this course to family and friends!

Really loved the place! Our instructor Tyler was amazing, he was so much fun to sail with, he explained everything so clearly, and has so much experience. You can get dinghy sailing lessons and cruising lessons. The club has a great restaurant with really good, fresh, veryyy delicious food. They serve alcohol and have all day breakfast as well. The coffee was great too. Greatly recommended!!

Our home from home. The kids love it there. The vibe is relaxing, the prices are very fair and the variety in the menu is great. The restaurant staff are always warm & friendly. DOSC is it's own little world and we love it like that!

Great place to relax over the weekend with a great view. Good for families, the food is great, live music playing at a weekend. Has a social table, this table is where u can sit if do t know anybody at the club or you are new, existing members will come and sit and chat with you to introduce you in It is a members club for sailing. But I have been a few times as a guest and felt very welcome.

A club that specializes in learning how to drive various types of ships. You can take a break and have a drink after returning from the sea.
