For a moment, you forget you're in Dubai. I never imagined seeing something beyond towering skyscrapers. This place is magnificent, transporting you back in time. Old Dubai and the souk are definitely worth a visit! The area is well-organized, allowing you to shop and enjoy a bite at the same time. Plus, it offers a stunning view of Dubai Creek, making the experience even more special.

I have visited Dubai many times and this is undoubtedly my favorite place in the city. The medieval persian architecture, the bazaar, the merchandise and the ambience just sweeps you away.. like an Arabian dream. The transformation from the concrete jungle on one side and the beautiful sky scrapers on the other is so surreal that it takes you back in time. Evenings would be the best time to visit. It's easily walkable from sharaf DG metro station on the green line

Heritage of old Dubai is well kept and photogenic but feels antiseptic. Starbucks Costa Coffee, tourist focused shops. Souk across the water has more soul. And frankincense there is reasonably priced too!
