Deeply Unprofessional, Intimidating, and Misleading –> A Warning to Future Clients I had genuinely hoped to resolve this matter quietly and respectfully. But what happened at Eleven Signature Salon was so inappropriate and escalated so aggressively that I feel compelled to share my experience publicly not for revenge, but to protect others from going through the same. I purchased a prepaid package last year and used only half of it. When I returned recently, I was told it had expired. However, I was never shown any terms and conditions when I paid, and no one could provide them when I asked. As a customer, asking for clarity is a basic right not an act of aggression. What happened next was shocking: the manager became loud, hostile, and abruptly called the police. Yes the police were summoned, not because I was violent or disruptive (I was not), but simply for requesting transparency about the services I had paid for. So I told them ok please if you want call the police. When the police arrived (around 11:17 AM on 8 July 2025), they immediately confirmed this was not criminal. They advised me that I had every right to take the issue to court, where camera footage could be retrieved to verify my version of events. I was also clear with them that I had felt insulted, bullied, and publicly humiliated by the manager’s behavior. If the salon responds to this review by calling me names or attacking my character, I invite you to ask: why would a business call the police on a calm client instead of simply resolving the issue? I have filed a formal complaint with Dubai Consumer Protection and will pursue legal resolution if needed. I urge future clients to ask for terms in writing, avoid prepaying, and reflect on what it means when a business answers valid concerns with aggression and intimidation. A professional salon doesn’t punish clients for speaking up they listen, respond, and take responsibility.
