We have been trying to obtain the NOC for resale from Ellington for over two months, and unfortunately, the experience has been very frustrating. We work with multiple developers across Dubai and have never faced such inefficiency in the resale process. The customer service is extremely slow and inconsistent. We already paid AED 5,250 for the NOC during the off-plan stage. Now that the building is ready, instead of issuing the NOC promptly, they are asking us to pay another AED 500 and resubmit documents we’ve already provided. When we explained the situation, customer service asked us to send yet another email confirming that the earlier payment was made. Too many unnecessary emails and delays. It seems there is no centralized or organized system in place. Each time we speak with a representative, we are told something different. While the build quality from Ellington is excellent, the customer service falls well below expectations for a premium developer. Dubai is a dynamic and fast-moving market — this level of service simply doesn’t fit. We truly hope Ellington will improve its resale process and customer support going forward.

We recently purchased our first offplan property in Dubai with Ellington. Dubai’s real estate market can be tricky with agents and sales representatives overpromising but ultimately underdelivering or not delivering at all. Not with Ms. Seren from Ellington, it took us several months to make our final buying decision. Seren guided us from our initial call until we signed the deal with the highest level of professionalism and transparency. Event it took us some time to decide, she would never pressure us and helped us to find the best unit with patience. Be very prudent on every details when you invest with Ellington. The day they handover, they just don’t care about you, they got their money. I invested in Kensington Waters, I’ve been allocated a parking spot outside the residence with no security gate, no coverage while other residents have theirs in the gated and covered area. Despite many complains, only response you get from Ellington is that they are sorry. Not treating clients the same and fairly will never get them to the top. Branding only is not enough, putting your customer at the center is the most important.

She was exceptionally helpful, professional, and responsive from the very beginning. Her support didn’t end with the sale — she continued to assist even after the transaction was completed. Truly outstanding service. Highly recommended!

I’ve had one of the worst customer service experiences with Ellington. The staff are consistently rude, lacking basic etiquette and professionalism in their tone of voice. Speaking to them only made me more frustrated, as they avoided answering my questions, made me repeat myself multiple times, and failed to provide clear or helpful information. I called their landline and was connected to someone named Wessam after asking for Amal. I had to repeat my question 2–3 times, simply asking when the NOC was applied — a straightforward query. Wessam couldn’t answer and instead transferred me to another colleague without informing me, whose name I don’t recall. Unfortunately, this person only repeated what Wessam said and was shockingly rude in the process. Her tone was unprofessional and dismissive, leaving me with a terrible impression. It’s baffling that a company handling millions in investments provides such poor customer support. The process is unnecessarily prolonged and illogical, and it’s clear the staff are neither properly trained nor equipped to handle client inquiries or complaints. I genuinely feel sorry for anyone who has invested with Ellington and has to deal with this level of service.
