Emirates Post - Al Barsha Post Office

I was having trouble locating my package from Slovakia because the shipper didn’t include my phone number, and the tracking wasn’t helpful. Since the Al Barsha Post Office is the closest to me, I decided to check if they could help. I arrived around 6 PM and was surprised by how smooth everything went. The staff were friendly, and I waited less than 2 minutes. The cashier immediately found my package and explained that no phone number or email was attached, which was why I hadn’t been contacted. The item was at a different sorting center, and he offered to either have it delivered or let me pick it up the next day. To my surprise, I got a message on Christmas Day saying the package was ready for collection. I went back, and once again, in this occasions I was served by a local gentleman and the service was fast and efficient – I was in and out in under 5 minutes. The team here works long hours, and their professionalism really stood out. Just a piece of advice: a smile and a non barking 😂 attitude goes a long way. I noticed other customers were in and out pretty fast. So just cut the guys some slack cause if your parcel is stuck for weeks it’s probably because there’s no way you can be contacted. Parking is available, including spots for customers and people of determination. It’s easy to find on Google Maps but can be tricky with Waze. Highly recommend this post office. Poor, unprofessional customer service, not from Al Barsha (the staff that works inside the Al Barsha post office are all amazing, being coming here 5 years) the problem is from the people that handle your package after you drop it here and loose it for 5 weeks. Horrible online customer treatment, with tons of ghosting. You have to get angry to have there attention. Very disappointing. There is a problem with after service customer care, maybe needs urgent Emiratization.

Horrible service. after they receiving my package and I paid for it, 15 days later they called me (with non official random numbers) and said they can’t deliver cause the size was too big (they talked like they didn’t know it was big when they received) , I have to come pick up and they don’t care what else. My whole life I have never deal with anything unprofessional and out of empathy like this.

This was an amazing post office. I come regularly here since it opens. But it has being taken by this Emx.ae and Amazon!!!! This looks like third world warehouse labor place. Parking is collapsed, full of tracks, of packages, of labor, of drivers. Drivers blocking the road to exit. This is madness. This place urgently needs go back to common sense.

Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience with Emirates Post. I was supposed to receive an important shipment from Emirates Islamic Bank yesterday. I called customer service and provided my full address and phone number. They assured me it would be delivered on Thursday, but it never arrived. I followed up again, and they promised it would be delivered. Today, I found out my shipment is in Abu Dhabi, even though my address is in Dubai — and I clearly provided the correct details. Until now, I have not received the package, and no one has contacted me. Very poor coordination and lack of follow-up. I expected better service. **************************** This review for the above I would like to express my utmost respect and appreciation for Mr. Fateh from Customer Service. He went above and beyond to help me with an issue that several other agents before him were unable to resolve. Mr. Fateh treated my case as a priority, followed up with me personally, and made sure I received my shipment. His dedication, professionalism, and genuine care truly stood out. Although the delay in delivery was frustrating, Mr. Fateh’s exceptional support and follow-through made up for it. Thank you, Mr. Fateh, and thank you to everyone who takes pride in doing their job the right way.
