It’s a disgrace. Once the AC stops working after 3:30 PM. Doesn't matter if 50 degrees outside, you’re basically on your own. All offices are closed, there’s no emergency support,no one answers the phone, no replies to emails, the app doesn’t work… a complete and utter failure of service.... We were left in the house with pets and small children in extreme heat.It’s not just inconvenient.How can a utility company doesn't o offer emergency support in a life.Absolutely unacceptable.
This is the only utility which holds ur deposit for too long. They are the worst. They are the only ones that don't transfer ur money back to ur account. They are not flexible, If u chose cheque refund and have flight next day they don't give a dang. Ur problem. U won't be able to reach to operator on the phone. Wost experience. Hope will never use their services. Won't advice even to the enemy.
Do your absolute best to live in an area without district cooling, DEWA is 10x better and cheaper experience. Short hours support and officies, limited path to resolutions and even when it comes to cancellation, you will be dragged across town to collect a cheque instead of bank transfer, CC refund or mailing the cheque.
I read some really awful comments of this provider before going. Trust me I was nervous thinking wow yet another day without AC cooling. A lot of the reviews mentioned Ms Ayesha Alyahya is prompt and efficient. And to my luck she was handling my case and as the reviews said, the job was done within 15 min. Now I was stranded for 3 days without ac cooling. They don’t have an emergency hotline and the call center is pretty rubbish. Good luck if you decide to move on a weekend. Honestly if you want to get anything done. Always, visit the office. Whether empower or amer for ejari. They can help so much faster.
Have requested refund of my deposit through check payment way back 10 Feb 2025. They acknowledged and sent SMS and email that request will be processes within 7 to 30 working days. First of all, why this government office is not using bank transfer through IBAN for security deposit refund??!! Dubai government always recommend technology usage to facilitate customer requests. Why this office is so backwards??? Now it’s been more than 30 days and i have been told after 2 follow ups on their customer service that my request is still in process. And now they are saying it will take further up to 15 days to process!!!! I told the customer service that Eid Holidays are soon coming and I cannot tolerate any further delay! Requested to be marked on emails so I can have visibility on the status. Till now nothing! I hope Dubai government looks into this agency. Lots of areas for improvement and automation required.
