Fat Aunt's Curries, Noodles & Dimsum

I enjoyed the ambiance. It is like being in the streets of Thailand, Korea, Malaysia or China. The food was good enough to enjoy. The crews are polite and entertaining, and they are all practicing proper safety and hygiene. Although it is confusing to order in the start due to the variation, but the staffs will teach you their ways. :)

JLT got more interesting with the addition of Fat Aunt, which is part of the 3 restaurants that make the Streetery Food Hall in JLT. Absolute beauty this, with 3 brands you are in for a fantastic variety drive here. Lovely atmosphere, street food from Asia brought to life here. Started off with the Sambal prawn with Malay Roti. This they made it their signature and please dont miss this to have. The spice levels, texture was amazing, typical stuff that you get only in Malaysia/ Singapore street style. You simply tear off a piece of the roti with your hand and dig it to the prawn sambal and man the rest is delish. Next was leaning towards the Chinese side of things, with the scallion bread, which was unlike the usual flat unleavened bread. The bread was of several layers, not crusty was soft and cut into thick triangles. Few of these slices will fill your stomach.

I went here more then just few time and so far it’s always good. Great concept and vibes. When you dine in, there is a mix feeling you are in Malaysia, Korea, China or Thailand. Quality vs price is definitely on the right side. However inside it might be a little bit hot ( probably AC is not strong enough ). Unfortunately there delivery options don’t have the full list of what have at the restaurant ( indoor).

Ordered my usual combination of Thai green curry (medium spicy), jasmine rice and Thai iced tea. Perfect meal. Our server was Jasmine and she was super friendly and professional. One of my favourite places to go after work for a quick dinner.

Great concept of trying to mimic SE Asia street food. Food is decent. Had the noodles which were great. Dim sum wasn't quite HK standard but was still decent.
