Fortune Karama Hotel

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The corridor AC wasn’t working at all, and there was ongoing maintenance work happening right outside my room, which was very inconvenient. When I entered the room, the first thing I noticed was that the bed linen hadn’t been changed. I was shocked — maintaining basic hygiene should be a priority for any hotel. It felt like the room had simply been reused without proper cleaning after the previous guest checked out. The bathroom was unbearable — it felt like a pressure cooker inside, with absolutely no ventilation or AC. I did not feel safe or comfortable during my stay. The AC in my room was barely working. Believe it or not, I ended up sleeping on the floor with just a blanket because it was the only way to manage the heat. Also, please provide at least two complimentary water bottles per day per room. It’s a basic human necessity. I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Choose another option if you want a comfortable and hygienic experience

Fortune Karama Hotel offers basic accommodation in a central location, but overall, the experience was average and could have been much better. While the hotel’s location in Karama is convenient for exploring the city and accessing public transport, the facilities feel quite outdated. The rooms are spacious but could use serious refurbishment, as some furniture and fixtures show visible signs of wear. Cleanliness was acceptable, but not up to the standard you would expect even for a mid-range hotel. Service was hit or miss — some staff members were friendly and helpful, while others seemed inattentive or disinterested. Noise from the hotel’s nightclubs can also be an issue, especially for guests staying on lower floors. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay and don’t mind compromising on comfort and modernity, Fortune Karama might be an option. However, there are other hotels in Dubai at a similar price point offering a better overall experience.

the room smell 😤 and the AC sound like 🤯 sleeping under helicopter to much sound from tha ac can't sleep properly I know no use for complaint that's why no complaint when I stay there. I'll not suggest for family and couples.

I was totally disappointed one of their bars( Filipino bar) I visited that bar with my friend lastnight and don't want the attitude one of their indian bouncer and 1 Filipina waitress they are gossiping about me and friend I didn't hear what they r saying but they are looking on us then they r laughing together and again stare on us...to the management of that Filipino bar please train your staff a good manner and respect your customers don't gossip on them

Though the hotel infrastructure is a bit old, it is well-maintained and in good condition. At the reception Anoop’s warm hospitality, professional demeanor, and exceptional attentiveness made our stay smooth and pleasant. He was knowledgeable, helpful, and went the extra mile to assist us.
