GEMS Founders School - Al Barsha

My son’s been at GEMS Founders Dubai for three years and is now in Year One. The facilities are clean and modern, and the staff has always been supportive. We had a situation where 3 children tried physically to hurt my son, and I really appreciated how professionally it was handled—both the parent rep and his teacher were great and supportive. One thing to note: in the Foundation Stage, the classrooms can feel a bit small for the number of kids, especially since they’re still in that very active, play-heavy phase. But it does get better as they move up and things get more structured. We look forward to seeing continued educational engagement and success as he progresses. So far, I would recommend GEMS Founders School for parents seeking high quality primary education with reasonable fees in Dubai.

I would like to express my heartfelt appreciation for my daughter’s FS1 B teacher Ms Naima Al Maayar, who has truly been an exceptional educator and a positive influence in her early learning journey. Since the beginning of the school year, I have witnessed a remarkable transformation in my daughter’s personality. She has become more confident, expressive, and socially engaged. Most notably, her language skills have improved significantly. She is now much more comfortable speaking and communicating , thanks to the nurturing and supportive environment her teacher has created. It is clear that the teacher’s dedication, patience, and passion for teaching have played a vital role in my daughter’s development. We are deeply grateful for the encouragement and care she has provided, and for the way she has made learning such a joyful and enriching experience. Our children have been attending this school for the past 7 years, and we, as parents, are truly content and gratified. The happiness of our children is a testament to the outstanding quality of education provided here. GFS created a nurturing and inclusive environment, which made students feel welcome and supported. Teachers and staff are always approachable. They prioritize the safety and well-being of their students, which is the most important factor in any school. Our school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities that provide opportunities for leadership and personal growth. They actively encourage parent involvement and always listen to your concerns.

Education wise: One of the best. Though recently a lot of new teachers are hired who are not well verses with education system here. Admin side: don't know who is heading that department but from traffic management to gate management it has become a mess recently. On top of that, recently during Ramadan they implemented a weird rule of dropping kids through different gates.. so I have to go to one side of the school to drop off my FS kid, then to another side of the school to drop my primary kid. Mind boggling. They need to hire more professionals for these jobs.

Happy with the education quality of the school. Minor issues are always present in every school, but the management's capability and willingness to improve have gained my trust.
