Extremely disappointing experience with GymNation Al Quoz. I joined on 24 June 2025, after being pressured by a GymNation salesperson to sign up immediately to “secure a limited-time discount.” There was no proper explanation of the strict 12-month contract, and I was just sent a payment link — no written terms to review, no trial period beforehand. Only after the payment did I realize the contract had already begun. To make it worse, I was given a 3-day “trial” after the contract was locked in, which completely defeats the point of a trial. Within just a few days of trying to attend, I realized that commuting from JLT after work was exhausting and mentally draining. I reached out right away to cancel — not asking for a refund, just to stop future billing for a service I clearly won’t be able to use. There is no customer service phone number, only automated email responses. The same salesperson who pushed me to sign up now refuses to help, simply saying “there’s nothing I can do.” I joined the gym to improve my physical and mental health, but the long commute after a full workday left me frustrated and stressed. I cannot focus on my fitness goals when I’m already mentally exhausted by the time I get there. It’s simply not feasible for me, and continuing to pay for a full year I won’t use makes no sense. Their terms and conditions offer absolutely no protection or flexibility for the customer — no cooling-off period, no early cancellation option for genuine cases like mine, and no support within the first week of joining. Think carefully before joining. Once you’re in, there’s no way out — even if it stops serving your needs from day one.

Gym is alright for workout as it’s well equipped. However would suggest to have water provided in dispensers for free as water is a necessity in a gym. You need to purchase a padlock or come with yours for locker rooms which is abit strange. There is a foul smell in the place - not sure if it’s cleanliness of toilets or sewerage system. Parking is available for two hours. Good If you just need a gym to workout and not keen on facilities then it’s a good gym

I’m very disappointed with how GymNation handled my recent billing issue. During a trip abroad, I lost my card and had to report it missing. Naturally, my payment didn’t go through. Once I returned to Dubai and received my replacement card, I immediately settled the payment the next day. Instead of offering any understanding or assistance, I was bombarded with aggressive calls and messages that felt more like harassment than support. Not once did anyone ask what happened or try to help resolve the issue calmly. The tone of communication was threatening and completely lacking in empathy. I expected better customer service from a brand that claims to value its members. A little sympathy and a more respectful, human approach would have gone a long way. Sadly, this experience has left me questioning whether GymNation truly cares about its customers or just their dues.

I am a big fan of gym nation and have been a member for many years, but the Al Quoz staff is very unprofessional and untrained. I am a hijabi female and I had a MALE worker walk in on me while in the female locker shower today without being warned . the staff didn’t care about my privacy and didn’t check if anyone was using the showers before letting in a man. No one apologized or took it seriously, honestly disgusting. won’t go to Al Quoz ever again
