Such an amazing team of great coaches. Our kids attended the classes and they loved it. Coaches pays attention and works on different techniques that help them learn faster and swim better. I can’t thank Gearrie, Gwen and rest of the team. Kids love you! We do too.

Great swim club in Dubai! The facilities are excellent, and the atmosphere is really motivating. Coach Nik is the best - super knowledgeable, patient, and cares about his swimmers.

I’m only writing this because I think it’s important others know how bad dealing with these people is and what you can do if they try to do you over. Reached out to them on their website about surfing lessons and had the manager reply to me and tell me to book with Anthony Simpson. Booked with this Anthony character for a surfing session for me and my two boys, 9 and 11, which was arranged over WhatsApp. Was promised all equipment, including rash guards. Turned up and his assistant, Tehillah McGuiness, was there at a tent with only three surf boards (so we couldn’t choose based on our size and experience) and no rash guards. I complained and Tehillah called Anthony then just passed the phone to me without even explaining to him what was going on. I told him it’s your job to speak to him and ask him where the equipment is and convey my issues. Of course he doesn’t do this, he just hands me the phone without any explanation to him. This is so this pair of clowns can have plausible deniability when they try to deny me my refund (obv they’ve done this to many people). I ask Anthony why there aren’t any rash guards for us like he agreed and he made some excuses (total lack of preparation) and offered me a refund. I took the refund. Then he refused to honor the refund. Started giving me abuse on the phone, completely lying to my face about what happened and then trying to gaud me into swearing at him so he could call the police on me (because that’s what happens to tourists who swear in Dubai). I told him I was going to speak to my credit card company and then he started inundating me with calls, leaving abusive voice notes and texts (see screenshot). I then complained to Gerrie van Gurp, the manger of High Performance Sports Club and the person who took my money. This woman, van Gurp, instead of just honoring the refund, started started amplifying Anthony’s lies and started gaslighting me about what actually happened (even though she wasn’t even there...

We could not recommend High Performance Sports Club and Gerri highly enough! We were in Dubai for a holiday and Gerri has transformed our almost 2 year old son’s ability to swim! We took swim classes in the US for 1.5 years, but Gerri was able to teach him how to float on his back, get himself out of the pool and swim with some basic support within 2 weeks! Her approach is based on years of experience and you can tell she is a professional who knows how to work with kids! Our son loves swimming and thanks to Gerri now has swim survival skills, which gives us so much peace of mind! I wish Gerri was coming back to the US with us!

We are very happy with high performance swimming . My son wyatt has been with the school since 3 years now and he has progressed to thw swimming squad. The coaches are very professional and have alot of parience with kids. My son has always enjoyed swimming with coach pieter who has been such a great mentor to my sons progress in swimming. Great swimming school for children.
