I just wanted to reach out and give you some input. I wanted to relay how great it is to work with Interlink team. I am so thankful that we found this INTERLINK CUSTOMS BROKER. We typically don’t have a need for shipping and logistics companies – so the first three that we have worked with left us feeling that we should just expect subpar customer service in this industry. I had a disappointing experience with this company’s general manager. After deciding to cancel my service, I encountered a lack of clear communication regarding the next steps for canceling my Delivery Order (D/O). The representative I was dealing with intentionally blocked me on WhatsApp and did not provide any guidance on the proper cancellation procedure. Additionally, when I asked for a manager's contact information to escalate my concerns, it was not provided. To make matters worse, my shipment was held under a Dubai Trade pending application, preventing me from proceeding with another agent. Despite my offer to pay the representative personally for any outstanding fees, he insisted on waiting for a refund from the shipping liner before processing the cancellation—even though, based on his 17 years of experience as stated on his LinkedIn profile, he knew that the shipping liner does not offer refunds. Throughout this process, he actively avoided my phone calls and only answered when the shipping agent called him and added him to a conference call. As a result of this altercation, I have now lost two days trying to resolve an issue that could have been handled professionally and efficiently. Customers have the right to choose their service providers, and I expected a more transparent and cooperative process. Clear communication and accountability are essential in logistics, and unfortunately, that was lacking in my case. I hope the company improves its approach to ensure a better experience for future clients.
