I’ve had sushi in many places around the world, but this was the best I’ve ever had — truly spot on. Very fresh and abundant sushi selection with friendly staff. The sea urchin sushi was my absolute favorite — it’s hard to find in many places, but here it exceeded all expectations in taste, freshness, and presentation. Simply unforgettable. When I return to Dubai, this is the place where I’ll be having sushi again and again. Highly recommended!

I had a great dining experience at Kimura-ya Authentic Japanese Restaurant, located inside Anantara Downtown Dubai Hotel in Business Bay. I went there with friends to try their Unlimited A4 Wagyu BBQ, and it honestly exceeded our expectations. For AED 149, you get to enjoy three hours of either Hotpot or BBQ, and we chose the Yakiniku BBQ. The quality of the A4 Wagyu was really impressive—especially the Karubi cut, which was tender, juicy, and had that melt-in-your-mouth kind of texture. The beef is grilled by their Japanese chef, which added to the authenticity of the whole experience. They also offer unlimited Japanese side dishes—around 39 options. It was hard to choose what to try first because everything looked and tasted good. From pickled vegetables to mini Japanese appetizers, it felt like a complete Japanese home-style meal. One thing I really appreciated was the service. The staff were super accommodating and always checking in to see if we wanted more meat or refills. They were friendly and cheerful, which made the atmosphere more enjoyable. The robot server was also a nice touch—very cute and fun! The place is clean and cozy, perfect for a small gathering. Since it’s indoor dining only, it feels comfortable and private. It’s inside a hotel, but it’s easy to find, and there's valet parking available. Overall, it’s a solid spot for Japanese food lovers—great service, great wagyu, and a very fair price. Will definitely come back!

Had a fantastic dining experience at Kimuraya Japanese Restaurant. The sushi was incredibly fresh—each piece tasted like it was prepared with real care and top-quality ingredients. The ramen was equally impressive, with rich, authentic flavors that brought me right back to Japan. Cozy atmosphere, attentive staff, and great value overall. Highly recommend for anyone craving real Japanese comfort food in Dubai.

Food was all fantastic and I couldn't stop eating from their all you can eat sushi menu that also had amazing sides that were also unlimited. Get the curry and some katsu chicken it's fantastic!
