Amazing team 👏🏼 Ahmad Ateek has practically founded this academy when there was nothing like this in region. Since 2018 I’ve attended multiple courses with them and learnt valuable and realistic skills, knowledge and strategies of self defense. Since the team has grown in past years the quality has improved as well. Suitable for adults, kids , professionals and non professional civilians .

I have been training with Krav Maga Middle East for the past year by attending both private sessions with instructor Ahmad Affara and instructor workshops as an advanced student with instructor Ahmed Ateek. I can confidently say that both private and instructor workshops provided an exceptional experience as I was able to work on my skills in private and then test them with instructor workshops which consisted of a group of instructors and advanced students like me. It is important to note that before joining Krav Maga Middle East I did research the backgrounds of the instructors starting with Ahmed Ateek (main instructor) to check where they learned Krav Maga, their accomplishments, and knowledge of self-defense in general and it was comforting to know Ahmed's long list accomplishments and experience. It is also worthy to note that Krav Maga Middle East is the first Professional Krav Maga training center to be established in the UAE. Here is my review broken down into 6 main areas: 1. Tailored Instruction: Ahmed Affara personalized every aspect of the training to suit my specific goals, abilities, and areas of improvement. His keen understanding of my strengths and weaknesses allowed them to tailor each session to maximize my progress and development. 2. Expertise and Guidance: Ahmed Affara has an impressive depth of knowledge and skill Krav Maga including Arnis(Kali or Eskrima). His knowledge of Arnis was beneficial when learning stick defense and striking. For interested students Ahmed can provide additional techniques adapted from Arnis which can be combined with Krav Maga. This made his guidance invaluable, providing insights and techniques that I wouldn't have been able to learn elsewhere. Every technique was taught with precision and clarity, reflecting years of dedicated practice and experience. 3. This is a practical martial art, relevant and interesting to learn. The classes are inclusive, with men and women, young and old learning together, in a safe, friendly and fun way. I think everyone and anyone should give it a try, don't be intimidated. The facilities are high end and the instructors highly professional, friendly and understanding. There is no macho nonsense but humility as you learn life saving skills. The tone is set by Ahmed who you will not fail to warm to. I have trained in many environments and this is by far the most accessible and inclusive. Highly recommended.

I hosted a one hour self defense class in my back garden for our monthly book club (7 ladies). Andy came prepared with all of the materials we needed for the one hour session. We all had a fantastic time and really took away some key self defense tips. I would highly recommend Krav Maga - they were very quick to respond and easy to book with. Thank you for a wonderful session. I am sure we will be booking refresher classes in the future.

Very professional set up . I attended a couple of workshops with Instructor Safwan . Very well organized. Practical based training. Made sure that people of all levels were engaged. Personal attention was given to everyone in the workshop. It’s definitely worth training long term with them.
