I recently exchanged AED for USD at the Lulu branch and received thirteen bills stamped with chop marks. I didn’t realize they were unusable until I tried to exchange them abroad—and was told chop-marked bills aren’t accepted. What kind of service hands over clearly defective currency? I’m certain they won’t take these bills back if I return to the branch, so I’m left with unusable notes and no recourse.
