MAD: Mad About Dance Dubai

I recently attended a series of classes and I must say, it has been an absolutely exhilarating experience. The teachers here are not just good; they’re exceptional. They possess a deep understanding of dance and a passion for teaching that truly shines through in every class. For the ladies looking to have fun while getting a great workout, the Zumba classes are a must-try. The energy is high, the music is invigorating, and the atmosphere is just fantastic. It’s a great way to stay fit and meet new people who share a passion for dance.

I have been taking classes at MAD for a few months now and I absolutely love it! The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive and make each class a blast. The studio itself clean, spacious and has a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

My overall experience in MAD studios was excellent. They have a great space and a set of fantastic teachers. I had enrolled for the swag intermediate batch and it was a great fun learning experience. Aditya sir is a versatile dancer and a fantastic teacher and by enrolling for this batch I got an opportunity to learn various dance styles from him through his different choreographies. His approach is positive and friendly which makes learning a great experience. My office staff and I had also enrolled for private sessions with Aditya sir for our office annual day function and we won the first price for group dance. I also got to learn a semi-classical dance for my solo performance from Ms Kaveri ma'am through private sessions and the choreography was really good. The management of MAD is very friendly as well and always ready to assist and help, especially Ms Jyoti who was very helpful and always prompt in responding to any of my queries. I also got opportunities to attend different workshops held by MAD in their studio and it was a good learning experience. Overall MAD is a great place for anyone who wants to unleash their inner talents and learn more about dance and fitness.

I wanted to share an important experience with Mad About Dance in Bur Dubai, where my daughter has been attending dance classes, especially important for parents: Yesterday evening, unfortunately my daughter sustained a serious ligament sprain in her lower back. This happened while she was asked to stretch and touch her toes. The dance teacher physically pushed her to stretch her further, and my daughter heard cracking sound instantly. She has been in significant pain since. Our Doctor has advised complete rest for 2 weeks to ensure proper recovery and avoid any long term issues. After discussing this incident with the teacher and staff at MAD (the owner is not reachable), it seems there are concerns around professionalism and experience of the staff, particularly their approach towards physical exercises and respecting boundaries. I believe this incident was avoidable if the teacher had a better understanding of basic exercise science and appropriate experience of working with children. If you are currently sending your kids or considering it, I'd just recommend to be extra cautious. I hope no other child faces an injury.

I had an amazing experience with Aditya, he’s a really helpful and understanding instructor and created some great performances for my wedding. Great and helpful support staff as well!
