Malgudy Restaurant

We enjoyed , Banglore masala dosa and samosa and Aratikaya bhaji it was delicious 🤤 The food was absolutely delicious! The quality was amazing, and it’s rare to find such good food at this price in Dubai, truly worth it. A great place for a tasty meal without spending too much. I really enjoyed it.

We had breakfast, and every dish we tried was absolutely amazing. The flavors were exceptional, the portions generous, and everything was incredibly fresh. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to return again and again!

I had a masala dosa and found it to have too much ghee. Service was slow but waiter waa pleasant and accomodating. The chaats were finished when we got there around 8:45pm and so were there snacks.

We recently visited this new South Indian restaurant in Silicon Oasis and I must say the food was absolutely delightful! The authenticity of the dishes is commendable, and the Karnataka Masala Dosa took me straight back home—it was simply amazing. The three types of chutneys they serve are all incredibly flavorful, making the meal even more enjoyable. They serve food in banana leaf - not many restaurants do this. Love it ! However, there’s definitely room for improvement on the service front. The restaurant seemed short-staffed, and the team present struggled to manage the crowd efficiently. Additionally, they were unable to accept Zomato Pay because the restaurant didn’t have a phone to acknowledge payments, which is quite surprising in this digital age. My suggestion to the owners: You’ve mastered the taste, and that’s a huge achievement. To complement your amazing food, it’s essential to train your staff better, improve service efficiency, and ensure all modern payment methods are functional. Excellent food paired with excellent service can make your restaurant a real winner, and I’m confident you can achieve this with a bit of focus on these areas. Malgudi used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but the service has hit rock bottom. The food is still good, but what’s the point when the staff make you feel insulted and unwelcome? Rajesh, the server, is the worst example of customer service I’ve seen in Dubai. He mishandles the waitlist, argues with paying customers, and behaves like he’s doing you a favor by giving you a seat. Absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. Dining out is about respect as much as food, and Malgudi has failed badly on that front. Unless management takes action and fixes this attitude problem, they will keep losing loyal customers like me. There are plenty of restaurants in Silicon Oasis that treat guests with dignity — Malgudi is no longer one of them
