Marks & Spencer | Dubai Mall

I recently visited M&S for a quick pastry fix, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing on many levels. Firstly, I was horrified to see flies — both small food flies and large green ones — flying around inside the pastry bin. I even recorded a video as evidence. I pointed this out to a staff member named Prasad who didn’t seem particularly concerned until I began taking a photo. Only then did he call someone over to remove the fly I asked if they would remove those items from sale, but shockingly, I later saw them still being sold to customers. When I mentioned the hygiene risk, it barely seemed to register. This made me seriously question the cleanliness standards in the store. To make matters worse, I ordered a cheese sandwich that took nearly 30 minutes to prepare, only to receive a sandwich with large, uneven tomato chunks, barely any cheese, no butter, and a stale taste. It was sloppy and disappointing, both in quality and presentation. Sadly, this isn’t the first time I’ve felt the service was inconsistent — helpful to some, dismissive to others. I expected more from M&S, and this visit has left me questioning whether basic food safety and customer respect are being upheld

The product quality at Marks & Spencer is excellent as always. However, the service and hygiene in the men’s fitting room need urgent attention, there’s no AC, and the area has an unpleasant odor, possibly due to cleaning materials. As regular customers, we hope this is resolved soon.

First experience with Afternoon Tea. I got a chance to experience the Afternoon Tea for free but it cost 89 AED ($24) in Marks and Spencer Cafe - Dubai Mall. You have three selections, poultry (I guess that consist of Chicken and Eggs), veg (self explanatory), and we decided to get the seafood. Two choices between tea as well, we ordered English Breakfast Tea. First level is the sandwich. The seafood consists of shrimp, tuna, and smoked salmon (which stands out among them 5/5). The second level was scones and clotted cream with jam. It was soft and perfectly goes well with the tea. 4/5 The third level was the desserts. I don't know what those are called but it's a decent sweet pastry. 4/5 Service. The staff are accommodating with some of our request like hot water refills on the tea. They maintain each and every table clean whenever customers left and done for eating.

One of my best visit here. Thanks to Shelah and Mahbouba for helping me out today. These ladies were so accommodating. I wanted to try a size 10 jeans and was not available. So they had to take out the one on display (mannequin) for me to try it. Their willingness to help is top tier.
