Modern Vet Downtown

I want to file a complaint. I have been coming to you for 3 weeks. Both of my cats have caught a serious virus. The doctor says they could die. You have always stalled me and misled me. You could not diagnose me. Currently, my two cats are in intensive care and their conditions are critical. Your business needs to be closed down immediately. I think all of you are incompetent. You should be closed down immediately so that you do not cause the death of more animals!!!

We love Modern Vet Downtown and our Dr. Despina. Not only she’s profesional, knowledgeable and always shares valuable insight. She cuddles my babies and says “I love you” to them! She does not limit the consultation to purely medical advice. She helps me understand and manage their behaviors, is genuinely interested in the relationships my babies (3 cats and 3 puppies) and tells me how to help them build the bonds. Each visit is very special - today my youngest got his best harness and some dog perfume on, to meet Doctor for the first time 🐶💚🥰

The first time in my life I’m going to put a bad review because The worst vet experience I’ve ever had. They seem to prioritize profit over the health of our pets, charging exorbitant amounts for treatments and taking advantage of worried pet owners. They prescribed six pills for my cat to help him sleep at night, costing me 260 AED. When the pills didn’t work, I requested a refund. Initially, they refused, and after insisting, they refunded only 150 AED because I had used two pills. Charging 110 AED for two ineffective pills is outrageous. This isn’t the first time either—last year, they prescribed an expensive appetite medication that didn’t work, but I didn’t complain back then. This time, I decided enough is enough. This place feels like a complete scam. I would strongly advise against trusting them with your pet’s health.

I had a great experience at this vet clinic. The staff were kind, gentle with my pet, and explained everything clearly. You can really see they care about animals and do their best to make them feel safe and comfortable.

I’m pleased that I found Modern Vet Clinic in Downtown. Nurse Ronald was very helpful, expert and friendly. Rebecca and Adnan also had a nice chat with me and gave some helpful advice too.
