Nina Ubhi | Makeup Artist

Nina is amazingly talented! I booked her for my destination wedding in Bali in June 2019. Just by looking at her instagram page, I was convinced by her work and booked her immediately without the need to do the trial! Her assistant also was very responsive and always gave prompt reply to all my inquiries. Nina is so professional and easy to work with! Before the wedding, she had told me to send my wedding outfit photos so that we could discuss the look together. She gave me amazing suggestions and respectfully listen to my requests. During the wedding, I had 4 different events and she created completely different flawless looks on each occasion. My make up looked great all night without any touch up. She made me look and feel so gorgeous. I couldn't have been happier with all the results plus all the feedback that I got from my guests. She is so knowledgeable and passionate about make up & also gave me some useful make up tips! She's an amazing person to work with, easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. I was so calm during the process because I knew I was in such great hands. Thanks Nina for being so patient with me during those 3 days! :) You truly are a talented artist!

I first worked with Nina during my destination wedding in Bali in November 2017. I didn't do a trial as I just knew I would love her work having followed her on social media for years. Nina literally made me feel like a million dollars for all six of my events. She is a master at what she does; a true artist, and was so innovative with each look she created for me. Due to how amazing she is, my sister loved her work during my wedding and also used her for her own wedding in Borneo, Malaysia, in April 2019. During this time, I had Nina do my make up for three of the events. Again, Nina's make up skills, being second to none, bought back all the feels from my own wedding. The amount of compliments I recieved were uncountable! I wish we had more family weddings coming up so I could continue working with her! I highly recommend Nina to anyone who wants to work with someone down to earth, dedicated and different!

It is an absolute pleasure to be writing a review for such a wonderful and talented lady! Nina has a true artistic flair when it comes to make-up. She understands faces/angles and the interaction of light with make up. I was lucky enough to have Nina do all of my looks for my big day! She worked closely with me to achieve my desired looks from the pre-wedding to the wedding day; her work was flawless! She was able to ensure my make up felt light and easy in the humid climate of Dubai. She put me at ease and was gentle with my skin and hair. I would recommend her every single time! I had the pleasure of booking Nina to do our makeup for my sisters wedding in all of the 5 events and I am so glad we decided to go with her. Not only was she super organized and punctual (which is so rare), she's extremely talented and her makeup is absolutely flawless, she's also an incredible person to have at your events when everything is so chaotic as she's extremely patient and down to earth. I booked Nina Ubhi for my bridal hair and makeup on my destination wedding in Goa in October 2018 and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my choice! Whilst local and UK make up artists stick to very generic looks I found that Nina’s looks were unique, meaning I surprised my guests at each and every event. Nina was friendly, very professional and I loved that she bought the WOW factor to my makeup in a humid climate.
