Unprofessional, very bothersome and spammy! I receive hundreds of similar emails and "offers," and I’ve explained multiple times that we do not wish to participate. It’s against our policy to pay for media coverage or accept vanity awards. Despite repeatedly asking to be removed from their mailing list, they continue to send emails. What’s worse, they keep pressing us to explain why we won’t accept their offer, even after we've spelled it out. That’s not outreach, it’s harassment! One of their so-called PR experts, Elaina Ross, contacts people using a Gmail account, which only adds to the lack of credibility. This is not how professional PR is done! The irony? I own a marketing and branding agency and I know exactly how this works and even explained it to them. Maybe they should hire a real PR firm to teach them how to do it right.

Paid “guaranteed” MSN placement; Fake image provided, link vanished, refunded via PayPal

I paid USD 400 on Apr 9, 2025 for a “guaranteed” inclusion in an MSN “Top 10 [category] to Follow in 2025” article (Pressiqa; invoice via The Alpha Linkers Limited). An MSN link with my name did appear, but only for a few days before it stopped working without notice. I was then offered publication on a different site (ceogazette.com) that I had not agreed to. When I asked for documentation of the stated MSN “policy change,” none was provided. I was also sent a promo graphic that, in my view, implied MSN had named me to a list. Because I had already shared the MSN link in proposals, my media kit, and social posts, its removal created broken links and credibility issues I had to fix. I filed a PayPal dispute for “service not as described,” and on Aug 12, 2025, PayPal closed the case in my favor and refunded the payment. Based on this documented experience, I would not recommend this service. If you’re considering it, insist on a minimum publication duration in writing, verify the hosting platform’s policies directly, and avoid substitutions you didn’t agree to.
