Incident happened with Professional security company staff at City Centre Al Shindagha parking exit- We had an argument while on exit time from parking. As our entry time was 17:32 Hrs. and while were about to exit, as per the EXACT TIME it was 20:27 (2Hrs 55 Mnts) still 5mnts eligible for free parking. The parking automated barrier stopped us, as the time on the barrier shows 20:35 (which was wrong). The same time we have called the security just to NOTIFY the reality of the TIME ERROR on the machine. The security person Mr. Williams from Professional security service has approached us immediately. We have conveyed our message, only to check the time on his watch and the time on the barrier (which shows exact 5+mnts more and we ae liable to pay parking charges of 20 Dhs). Its not a big deal of paying 20 Dhs. However the wordings & the approach/attitude of the security person was treating us like we are cheaters arguing to save our 20 Dhs. The only thing for the whole message is to teach/train your staff to behave properly and nothing more. If he could have checked his watch, he could have understand the mistake and to share with the management to serve the next customer better. After we shared our message , he said us-The machine was working for past seven years and so far there was no issue and we are the only complaining customer, so just pay the amount in the machine and clear off..!. He was so aggressive instead of find what went wrong in a fraction of second by checking his watch. After we have paid the amount and once we reach the barrier unit back, we have observed a technician arrived to open the device to repair and hope all our message was clear..! Thanks
