Qatar Insurance Company - Dubai

I am the father of a special child, and I sincerely curse that the pain I am going through should also be felt by the reimbursement team. Qatar Insurance is the worst insurance company in the world. These people only look for excuses to reject claims. My child is a special needs child, and they don’t even have any sympathy for him — they just keep rejecting claim after claim. this pathetic insurance company keeps rejecting claims saying "the number of sessions is not mentioned by the doctor." Sometimes they reject the claim saying the referral letter is missing. And when I ask, I’m told that the same doctor who is providing the treatment is supposed to refer the child to himself. This is absolute nonsense and pure madness!

I called 800 4742 to get a No Claim Letter and they said they would let me know the email address to ask it by Whatsapp/SMS. However, I didn't receive any information from them. I also asked it to insurance broker and he asked several times to QIC. Nothing comes from them. Super slow. I cannot renew insurance and car registration because of QIC.

I had a minor issue with my car and had to call multiple times just to remind them to send me a location for the garage. Always asking me to wait 24h to only ignore me for good until I call back. Their phones are hard to reach taking around 20-30 min for someone to pick-up and im pretty sure they only have one worker on the phone. Even when you patiently wait to be connected there is a chance that line would hang up on you as that happened to me multiple times. The worker on the phone is anything but polite, he asked me to email him documentation and when I did he complained as if the world was ending because I missed a document. Overall, I am 100% sure I will not continue with their services as this was the most unprofessional service i had to go through .

I would not recommend this company to anyone seeking reliable insurance services. After my car was hit, I contacted them to have it repaired. Nearly a week passed without any progress—they failed to assign a garage, despite repeatedly assuring me that I would receive an update within an hour. From Monday to Saturday, I kept following up, only to be told the claims team wasn’t available and my claim would be registered the following Monday—a full week after I first reported the incident. This left me completely immobile for days, with no replacement car provided and no real assistance. The repeated false promises felt like tactics to get me off the phone rather than to help. I’m extremely disappointed and frustrated with how inefficient and unresponsive Qatar Insurance (Dubai) has been throughout this process.
