Rackets Academy Motor City

Rackets Academy are thieves. I signed up to their website in December 2024 to book a court for 1.5 hours. 3 days before my booking, I tore my calf muscle in football. I called immediately to cancel my booking (as I did not know when I would be able to play again). I was asked to send an email, which I did, including my medical record and asked for a refund as I did not when I would be able to play again and as I was only temporarily in Dubai. Cancelling a booking 3 days in advance is a well advanced notice and especially if one has a medical report. Despite this, Rackets Academy refused to refund me and said I would get it into my profile as a credit - which I never wanted. After I recovered, I was only able to play once more, for which I used some of the credit I was given back. After I left Dubai, I asked for the rest as refund and Rackets Academy (who have practically no customer service) refuse to pay me back and told me "we will give you cash when you are in Dubai". These people are thieves and take their monopoly for granted. The website is also a joke; no terms or conditions on bookings or any practical way of managing an existing booking or customer service contact. Stay well clear of them

My daughter has been training at Rackets Academy for over a year, and the experience has been fantastic! Her coaches, Chris and Jordan, are absolutely amazing—dedicated, skilled, and truly invested in her progress. They make every session engaging and challenging, helping her grow both technically and mentally as a player. A special mention to Alana, who oversees everything so seamlessly. She is incredibly responsive, always helpful, and ensures that everything runs smoothly. The entire operation is well-organized, professional, and truly focused on the development of young athletes. Highly recommend Rackets Academy to anyone looking for top-quality tennis coaching!

Im in bahrain at an Itf with two players and the coach wearing a rackets academy shirt with 5 players got in a fight with me about a practise court and with the tournament director , he the. Encouraged his players to fight along side with him and didn’t get off the court when he didn’t book it. If this is how the travelling coaches are acting - and after 15 years in tennis , I would definitely not recommend this company or organization to take care of your kids. This was embarrassing to watch as a coach and father. Treating the tournament director with this rudeness was unbelievable. I’m so sorry to have to leave this review.
