Regent International School

Although I’m giving this school five stars, I must say that my rating is not primarily based on the curriculum, the facilities, or the teaching staff—though we truly appreciate the teachers and my kids are genuinely happy with them and enjoy being part of this school. I also have no major complaints about the other aspects of the school. Sometimes, there are individuals in an institution whose behavior alone can ruin your entire perception of a place. And sometimes, there are people whose presence singlehandedly adds value and credibility to the whole institution. Ms. Ingrid is absolutely one of the latter. Since she started working at the reception, she has always been smiling, genuinely helpful, and full of positive energy. Her ability to connect with people warmly and respectfully is rare and uplifting. Every time I’ve interacted with her, I’ve left the school with a smile. She brightens the atmosphere and truly makes a difference. Ms. Ingrid has no idea I’m writing this, and I don’t know her personally. But I truly believe she deserves to be acknowledged. I’ve always meant to share this feedback with the school management but hadn’t acted on it—until now. Today, I wanted to put it in writing and make sure it’s recognized.

I hope we can also shut down the Jumeirah Nursery Billboard after 10pm too! They have a billboard with ads so unnecessary strong that illuminates the complete neighborhood. The school should teach their students about visual pollution by example.

Dear Ms. Eakins, Thank you for your personalized and constructive response. I appreciate the shift toward a tailored approach that avoids generic replies implying potential legal action as a precaution. This thoughtful engagement was exactly what I had hoped for, rather than being managed through a formal questionnaire process. It’s unfortunate that such an opportunity for reconciliation wasn’t available at the most logical moment. Of course, it’s understandable that budgeting for such a process for ex-customers wouldn’t be seen as cost-effective. While our current academic setting may better suit my child's specific needs and personality, I acknowledge that experiences can vary, and my perspective and previous comments are influenced by personal and somewhat heightened expectations. At this time, I do not wish to pursue further discussions. That said, I recognize and appreciate your efforts to address feedback constructively, but I'm afraid you won’t squeeze any more stars out of me in this review. Best regards
